Law and Order SVU season 20 finale synopsis and promo: End Game

Peter Stone’s last Law & Order: SVU episode is here, and NBC has released an official description and promo for the SVU season 20 finale.

Thursday’s installment “End Game” picks up a story introduced earlier in the season, with Olivia Benson’s (Mariska Hargitay) latest nemesis Rob Miller (recurring guest star Titus Welliver, Chicago PD) still scheming. After having gotten out of custody in a previous episode, Miller is back to his evil ways and Benson is determined to put him behind bars for good.

But that’s not the only reason that the season finale is important. Philip Winchester previously confirmed that he won’t be returning for SVU season 21 this fall, meaning that this is also the last time fans will see Assistant District Attorney Peter Stone.

Will Stone get some kind of an exit story like his predecessor Rafael Barba? Or will it be business as usual and he’ll simply get a mention in next season’s premiere? Fans will have to watch and find out, and will want to watch to say goodbye to another main character as the season comes to what should be a big end.

"When a teenager is found dead in the Hudson River, Lt. Benson suspects Rob Miller is behind the mysterious death but can’t prove it. Despite having only circumstantial evidence, ADA Stone takes the case to court before Miller can destroy more lives."
