Chexton fans won’t want to miss the next Chicago Med, as evidenced by the promotional photos that NBC has released for this week’s episode.
Wednesday’s installment “Forever Hold Your Peace” has a significant subplot for Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) and his ex-girlfriend April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta). At least, it must be big because the majority of images made available for the episode feature Choi and April.
That’s similar to last week, when the show mostly released photos of Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto), and the main story centered on Natalie. In this case, the network’s promo didn’t have a lot of Choi and April in it, so perhaps their plotline is bigger than the ads have let on? Whatever the case, their story is the only one that we have any clues about.
At least the photo spread also shows Maggie Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett), because Maggie hasn’t had a lot of screen time recently. It’s possible she could help out April and Choi; she and April have a strong friendship, and especially with Choi’s nephew in the mix—the baby is also visible—some extra help could be a big boost. After all, the Bernie drama doesn’t seem to be ending.
