What’s happening in this week’s Chicago PD episode? Find out about Confession with the Chicago PD season 6, episode 21 synopsis and teaser.

The next Chicago PD could be the beginning of the end for Antonio Dawson, according to NBC‘s official description of Wednesday’s episode and the promo they’ve dropped for it.

This week’s episode “Confession” sees Antonio (Jon Seda) taking the lead on a new drug case, but the show also reminded us that he had a drug problem last week. After Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) told Antonio he doesn’t trust him around opiates during “Sacrifice,” was that a hint that something is going to go wrong here?

It would make sense, since Antonio is only going to appear in two more episodes—it was revealed last month that producers decided to cut his character from Chicago PD at the end of this season. So his story has to be wrapped up, and “Confession” should at least lay the groundwork for how it will happen.

Hopefully, it won’t be all bad news for Antonio Dawson, or the many One Chicago fans who know and love the character. But viewers who have been wanting answers about what will happen to him have to see this episode.

Here’s how NBC officially describes the episode:

"Antonio struggles with his guilty conscience as he tries to take down a major drug dealer. In order to protect his team, Voight takes a big shot at Kelton."
