Chicago PD season 6 finale synopsis and promo: Reckoning
What’s happening in the Chicago PD season finale? Find out about Reckoning with the Chicago PD season 6, episode 22 synopsis and teaser.
The Chicago PD season finale is here, and One Chicago fans can get some details about what’s ahead with NBC‘s official description of the episode and the promo that they’ve released for it.
Wednesday’s episode, entitled “Reckoning,” will bring the battle between Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) and Superintendent Brian Kelton (recurring guest star John C. McGinley) to a head. And that’s about all viewers know, because the network’s synopsis is incredibly vague.
The only big clue that it gives is that Intelligence’s plan to stop Kelton from being elected Mayor of Chicago takes them “off-book,” which happens just about every other week on this show. And we have seen a set-up like this before: remember last season’s finale where it was all about Voight’s final showdown with Denny Woods (Mykelti Williamson)? So how will this one be different?
What’s notable is that the synopsis doesn’t mention anything about Antonio Dawson, which is a bit strange considering Antonio was set up for a lot of trouble last week—and that this will be the last episode for Jon Seda. The show chose not to bring him back for season 6.
