When will FBI: Most Wanted premiere on CBS? Following the success of FBI, the network moved quickly to come up with a spinoff, and Dick Wolf‘s latest series is about to become a franchise.

The new show stars Julian McMahon (Nip/Tuck) as a veteran agent at the center of the Fugitive Task Force, which is responsible for chasing down and apprehending fugitives who are eluding the federal government. Alana de la Garza (Law & Order) also stars as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge overseeing the task force.

Their team was introduced in an FBI episode this spring, where they teamed with the agents from their parent program to stop a murderous fugitive. When ratings for that episode were good, CBS officially ordered the spinoff series.

FBI: Most Wanted wasn’t on CBS’s fall schedule, but the network announced its midseason schedule in November, and so we now finally know the answer to “When does FBI: Most Wanted premiere?”
