Hightown, starring Chicago Fire’s Monica Raymund, is filming
Monica Raymund’s new series Hightown has started production; see a first look photo of the Chicago Fire actress on the Hightown set here.
Monica Raymund left Chicago Fire after six seasons, but she’s working on a new TV show called Hightown, and One Chicago fans can get their first look at her on the set.
Hightown is a crime drama for the premium cable network Starz. It focuses on a National Marine Fisheries Services officer named Jackie Quinones (played by Raymund), who finds a body when it washes up on the shore.
Jackie becomes determined to solve the case, despite state police trying to keep her out of their way and her own complicated past.
The series is created and executive produced by Rebecca Cutter (Gotham). And while the network hasn’t announced a premiere date yet, if you don’t have Starz, there are still ways you can watch when it does arrive.
You can subscribe to Starz directly through their website, or use Amazon Video to subscribe there. Either option will give you a week’s free trial to start, then require a monthly subscription, so check the site of your choice for the current subscription price.

This will be Raymund’s first series regular role since deciding to leave Chicago Fire at the end of season 6 (though she did come back for a surprise appearance in the season 7 premiere). She also directed an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit this season, as part of NBC‘s Female Forward directing program.
