When can you watch Law and Order: Special Victims Unit this month on NBC? Here’s when and where Law and Order SVU will air in July 2019.

Fans of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit can continue watching their favorite show this month, as NBC has planned more SVU reruns as part of its July 2019 schedule.

While Dick Wolf‘s One Chicago franchise is taking the summer off, that’s not the situation with Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and her detectives. The network is keeping them around, giving viewers a chance to catch up on the 20th season.

The one caveat is that there is no rerun this week, because this Thursday is July 4, which makes it a national holiday. NBC is showing the Macy’s 4th of July Spectacular this week, as they normally do.

But on July 11, fans can catch a second airing of the SVU episode “A Story of More Woe,” which first aired on Jan. 31. In that installment, Benson steps in to help two teenagers after their father is murdered.

That’s followed by “Part 33” on July 18. Originally seen on Feb. 7, the episode involves a woman being tried for the murder of her husband—but because the husband abused her, Benson and the SVU squad aren’t sure they agree with the decision to press charges.

Another rerun is planned for Thursday, July 25 but NBC has not yet announced which episode that will be.

What’s good is that the network is running these episodes in order, so audiences essentially have a second chance to watch the season as it aired. Sometimes, TV networks jumble up their reruns, which can make things hard to follow if you’re watching for the first time.

But that’s not what’s happening here, so enjoy this month’s SVU schedule and catch up on any installments that you missed when they premiered.
