Law and Order SVU TV schedule for August 2019: This month’s reruns

When can you watch Law and Order: Special Victims Unit this month on NBC? Here’s when and where Law and Order SVU will air in August 2019.

If you’re a Law & Order: Special Victims Unit enthusiast, you’re in luck because NBC has planned more SVU reruns during August 2019.

There will be repeats throughout most of the month, with the exception of this evening, keeping fans of Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) busy on Thursdays, in the same time slot as the show is on during the season. All of the reruns are from SVU season 20, the most recent season.

Additional reruns will also be available in syndication, including on NBC’s sister network USA and local channels like MyNetworkTV, so check your local listings to see other options. But NBC will be doing its part to keep SVU fans entertained.

On Aug. 8, there will be a repeat of “Facing Demons,” the episode in which Brian Cassidy (former series regular Dean Winters) returns to help Benson and company with a child molestation case. This episode is also notable for being the show’s 450th episode.

Then on Aug. 15 is a second showing of “Blackout,” in which defense attorney Nikki Staines (the excellent Callie Thorne) is sexually assaulted, leaving the team helping a former adversary. This was the episode which introduced Rob Miller (Titus Welliver) as Benson’s new antagonist.

NBC has also announced that reruns will be shown on Aug. 22 and 29, though the network hasn’t said which episodes will be airing on those dates.
