Chicago Med actress Torrey DeVitto has joined the Abrams Artists Agency roster, making a big change before Chicago Med season 5 premieres.
The actress, who portrays Dr. Natalie Manning on the One Chicago medical drama, has hired the Abrams team to represent her not only for acting, but also appearances in commercials and any voiceover work.
Her move comes as Natalie’s fate on the NBC series is up in the air. The fourth season finale that aired in May ended with Natalie bleeding and unconscious in the arms of her former fiance Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss), after Will’s car was hit by one of Ray Price’s sons, looking for revenge.
While fans will have to wait until September to find out if Natalie survives the accident, what they do know is that Torrey DeVitto has become the clear female lead on Chicago Med. Aside from spending a significant amount of time on Natalie’s romantic life, the character has been featured in a number of episodes in season 4, including one where she was on board a crashing helicopter.
It’d be difficult to imagine the show without her at this point, and now that she’s got a new agent, that might open up new opportunities for her—or be something to keep an eye on whenever her contract for Med is up to be re-negotiated.

The change is also happening while fans have been getting a lot of Torrey DeVitto-related news. Her former series Pretty Little Liars was recently dropped from Netflix, while Hallmark Channel recently aired her Christmas movie Best Christmas Party Ever as part of its Christmas in July promotion. And as revealed in the Deadline report, she’s got another Hallmark movie on the way.
With all that happening, getting a new agent might be the thing that helps launch her career to a whole other level and gives her even more exposure. This can only be good news for her, and all of the One Chicago fans who enjoy watching her each week.
