One Chicago stars shine in new NBC Upfront portraits

The stars of Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med looked fantastic at NBC’s Upfront presentation. Check out the latest One Chicago cast portraits.

Several One Chicago actors were on hand when NBC made its annual Upfront presentation in May, and the network has just now released some excellent cast portraits it shot during that event.

The Upfronts are when the network reveals its fall TV schedule to advertisers, and so it’s common for cast members from nearly every show to be there—meeting people, doing interviews to gain buzz, and of course taking lots of photos. Since the Chicago shows are NBC’s biggest franchise, it’s been included in the Upfronts for awhile now.

Not every cast member from every show turns up, but this year there were representatives from each of the three series.

The Chicago PD cast had three actors included, with LaRoyce Hawkins, Jesse Lee Soffer and Tracy Spiridakos on hand in New York.

For Chicago Med there was also a trio taking pictures: Yaya DaCosta, Oliver Platt and S. Epatha Merkerson.

As for Chicago Fire, the only actor who had his portrait done was Eamonn Walker—which is a bit odd since the other two shows had more than one star. Perhaps there was a scheduling issue that kept the other actors from attending, but it would have been great to see more Fire photos.

That being said, these portraits deserve every fan’s attention. They’re beautifully shot, and all of them show the actors in completely different ways than we see them on TV every week. The best example is Tracy Spiridakos, whose look is completely opposite from what you’d expect of Hailey Upton. It’s great to see our favorite performers in a different light.
