First Responders Live preview: Be ready for anything

First Responders Live returns to the front lines with police, firefighters and paramedics. Preview Dick Wolf’s FOX series before tonight’s episode.

Remember that First Responders Live airs on Tuesdays now, and that includes tonight, when Dick Wolf fans can see a brand new episode.

The FOX reality series follows various crews of first responders—whether they’re police officers, paramedics, or firefighters—in cities around the United States. Experts in each field comment on the action from the show’s studio.

The show is airing its eleventh episode on Tuesday, having settled into a new time slot (it started originally on Wednesdays).

Last week, it pulled in 1.48 million people watching the action live, ranking it eighth out of the 12 shows that aired on broadcast TV that night. Its 0.4 share amongst adults 18-49 also ranked it in eighth place.

While it hasn’t been a TV ratings smash, the series is an alternative on a night that’s packed with summer reruns and other reality shows. NBC airs America’s Got Talent, while ABC has Bachelor in Paradise.

So if talent shows and dating shows aren’t your thing, you can watch real heroes at work over on FOX, which released a teaser clip for tonight’s episode to give viewers an idea of what happens in the fast-paced hour.
