Chicago Med season 5 premiere synopsis: Never Going Back To Normal
What’s happening in the Chicago Med premiere? Find out about Never Going Back To Normal with the Chicago Med season 5, episode 1 synopsis and teaser.
The Chicago Med season premiere will answer all your questions, according to NBC‘s official description of the episode.
The first installment is called “Never Going Back To Normal,” in keeping with the writers’ habit of having episode titles use the same number of words as the season they’re in. And based on what has been released so far, normal is definitely going to change around the hospital.
While the car accident that injured Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) is at the forefront, there’s also drama as Cornelius Rhodes’ death is now a public issue. In his final episode, Cornelius’ son Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) isn’t just asking questions about his father’s demise—he’s going to have to answer them, too! So how will Connor ultimately leave the hospital, and the show?
And Maggie Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett) is receiving a “life-changing” update, which doesn’t sound good either. Chicago Med fans will definitely look back on this episode as one that is a turning point for the whole series.
