Chicago Fire season 8 premiere photos: Sacred Ground
Want to see what’s in the Chicago Fire premiere? Look at scenes from Sacred Ground with our Chicago Fire season 8, episode 1 photos.
The Chicago Fire premiere has arrived, and NBC has released official photos ahead of the episode, but One Chicago fans will be surprised by what they see.
Wednesday’s installment is called “Sacred Ground,” and viewers have been waiting for it since May to find out who from Firehouse 51 survives. But the network is giving absolutely nothing away as we prepare for the start of the new season.
NBC has only released two photos from the premiere, ostensibly because they don’t want to spoil who lives and who dies. Seeing a character in a photo proves that they’re still alive when we return to the factory fire.
To that end, the only characters you’ll get a look at are Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker). Both characters were long shots to be killed off, and Boden’s fate wound up being proven a long time ago with Eamonn Walker’s presence in multiple press events and videos.
These two photos do show an amazing fire, though, so fans looking for action will definitely not be disappointed by how this plays out. There’s obviously still a lot for Firehouse 51 to battle when the premiere begins, and the rest will have to stay a surprise (except for this).
