Thursday’s premiere, “I’m Going To Make You A Star,” is the show’s take on Harvey Weinstein. A character based on him is portrayed by American Gods star Ian McShane, and it’s up to Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and her squad to hold the businessman accountable for his behavior.

Meanwhile, changes are afoot in the Special Victims Unit squadroom. Most prominently, the team is down an Assistant District Attorney after Peter Stone (Philip Winchester) resigned at the end of last season.
