After making it through last week’s blackout, the latest episode of Chicago Med is going to find many of our favorite doctors at odds in determining the best approach to treating this week’s crop of patients.

Tensions between Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) and Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) will reach new heights this week, as Will questions Natalie’s capabilities in treating a patient. Will’s objections to Natalie’s continued work on a case is sure to cause further friction between the two former lovebirds, who have been on the outs thus far in season 5.

Elsewhere in the episode, entitled “In the Valley of the Shadows,” Med‘s newest character Dr. Crockett Marcel (recurring guest star Dominic Rains), continues to make waves. In assisting with the treatment of a patient, Dr. Marcel will get some pushback from veteran nurse April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta) over his proposed method of treatment. It will be interesting to see how the two interact over the course of the episode and if they eventually see eye to eye by the episode’s end.
