This week’s Chicago PD is the conclusion to the first One Chicago crossover of the season, and based on the photos that NBC has released for this episode, the story is going to end with a huge bang.

Wednesday’s episode, appropriately entitled “Infection, Part 3,” is the one that deals with the Intelligence Unit chasing down the person who unleashed the flesh-eating bacteria in Chicago. But because you have to be pretty smart to pull off a scheme like that (and also because the show has to fill an entire hour), the investigation looks pretty complicated.

And One Chicago fans won’t be surprised that there are also plenty of action photos. It’s never that long before the Intelligence team turns things physical, and Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) gets to use a very large sniper rifle in one photo.

What’s interesting is that photo could also be considered spoilery, since one of the big points that NBC is advertising for this crossover is Upton being in medical quarantine. But by implication, she has to be okay fairly quickly, or she wouldn’t be back out in the field with the rest of her team. And it looks like they’ll need her based on the rest of these images.
