This week’s Chicago PD will have more action than usual in it, according to the official photos that NBC has released for the episode.

Wednesday’s installment is titled “Brother’s Keeper,” and the network’s official description doesn’t say much other than that a murder investigation goes wrong. But the selection of photos they’ve made available says quite a bit—starting with the fact that there are over a dozen images here, a lot more than One Chicago shows normally drop each week.

Almost all of the promotional pictures are either action shots, or shots that look to be from either before or after the action happens. We see several characters involved in a gunfight, what looks to be the Intelligence Unit on their way to storm a location, and other characters packed into the back of a surveillance van.

Chicago PD has always packed a fair amount of action into each episode; it’s more about hands-on policing than investigation behind a desk. But when you look at these photos, it’s pretty clear that “Brother’s Keeper” is going to be a nail-biter.

That’s particularly true for Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger), and that can’t be good for somebody who just narrowly avoided time in prison. Will he end up right back in hot water after this episode? And how will newcomer Vanessa Rojas (Lisseth Chavez) react now that the heat is on? Will she do better than she did before?
