Chicago Fire season 8, episode 7 synopsis: Welcome To Crazytown
What’s happening in this week’s Chicago Fire episode? Find out about Welcome to Crazytown with the Chicago Fire season 8, episode 7 synopsis and teaser.
The latest Chicago Fire will see characters exploring their career options outside of Firehouse 51, according to NBC‘s official description of the episode and the promo they’ve released for it.
Wednesday’s hour is entitled “Welcome to Crazytown,” which doesn’t sound like an encouraging name, but several of our heroes are going to be kept busy. Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) is again at the forefront, and again having to look forward at his future within the department.
It won’t help matters that a very familiar face from his past is coming back for another visit. Will he bring good news or bad news this time around? Or will he have his own agenda?
Meanwhile, Joe Cruz’s (Joe Minoso) recent streak of good luck seems set to continue when he gets another chance to expand the Slamigan into a bigger business. Let’s hope this isn’t another one of the show’s comedic subplots where everything seems cool, and then Cruz gets let down by some weird fluke in the end. But it sounds like he’s going to have more options, too. It’s the latest major change in his life.
Here’s how NBC officially describes the episode:
"Severide must make a tough decision about the future of his career at Firehouse 51. Herrmann deals with the consequences of his temper after a run-in with a Chicago police officer. Cruz is excited to demonstrate the Slamigan at the Firefighting Expo. Commissioner Grissom returns."
And here’s the promo that’s been airing in advance of the episode:
