The latest Chicago PD features the return of Darius Walker, according to NBC‘s official description of the episode and the promo that they’ve released for it.

Wednesday’s installment is called “Informant,” which is referring to how Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) thinks that Darius (recurring guest star Michael Beach) can serve as an informant for the Intelligence Unit. But a drug dealer isn’t just going to roll over and start working for the cops. If he can be convinced to help, you can almost certainly expect that it’s going to come with a price.

And how is working with Darius going to go over with everyone else? Voight already had to sell the idea to Superintendent Jason Crawford (returning guest star Paul Adelstein), who has a ton of egg on his face after last week’s botched investigation. You can bet Crawford will pressure the team to deliver big results, or at least not to do anything else that will further embarrass him.

But politics and Intelligence don’t usually mix well, and the squad always has rough alliances with the bad guys. So this episode could blow up in everyone’s faces.
