The Chicago Med midseason finale is going to reveal at least one big thing, according to NBC‘s official description of the episode and the promo that they’ve released for it.

This week’s episode is called “I Can’t Imagine the Future,” and it’s finally going to see Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) begin to remember what happened on the night of last season’s finale. Will that affirm that Phillip never proposed, and she and ex-fiance Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) were going to get back together? Will, and Manstead fans, would certainly like that and it would make for one heck of a note to break the season on.

Plus, the show’s actually stable relationship looks like the writers are about to throw a wrench into it. Chexton fans might want to hang onto something, because it’s possible that they could split up again. Is anyone able to have a long-term, healthy romance in this hospital that doesn’t involve breaking up and getting back together?

Hopefully someone will get a happy ending or it’s going to be a long wait until the midseason premiere. And again, that doesn’t even cover what kind of cases Chicago Med might leave us hanging with!
