Click through the below slideshow as we look at Chicago PD season 7 as it relates to Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), starting with:

What’s happened so far

In the first nine episodes of this season, it’s been business as usual for Voight on Chicago PD. He’s still running the Intelligence Unit with an iron fist, and still engaging in behavior that many people either would find questionable or wouldn’t have the guts to do (or both).

We have yet to have an episode with a Voight-centric storyline, but he’s still had plenty of screen time in the episodes that have already aired. There have been numerous scenes of Voight telling a member of the Intelligence Unit how things really work around here, whether it was Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) in the season premiere or Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) in “Informant.”

Elsewhere, Voight has formed a quasi-alliance with the new interim Superintendent, Jason Crawford (recurring guest star Paul Adelstein). Crawford was introduced to replace Brian Kelton (John C. McGinley), and has been leaning on Voight for a number of things, from solving Kelton’s murder to saving his proverbial bacon.

Voight is also entangled with local drug dealer Darius Walker (recurring guest star Michael Beach), whom he kept out of prison in the episode “Assets” under the belief that Darius would cooperate with Intelligence and help them clean up the streets. So far, that’s only half worked as Darius has not been entirely forthcoming with Voight. So how long will their arrangement last?
