What’s happening in this week’s Chicago Med episode? Find out about “The Ground Shifts Beneath Us” with the Chicago Med season 5, episode 11 synopsis and teaser.
The next episode of Chicago Med once again blurs the lines of personal and professional when one of their own may be in danger.
From the looks of the synopsis and promo that NBC has released, Wednesday’s installment of Chicago Med, “The Ground Shifts Beneath Us,” sounds like it’s going to put the doctors and nurses of Med to work, as there’s a major accident at Chicago’s O’Hare airport.
With patients being rolled in left and right, will they be able to save everyone? And when one of their own may be among the victims of the plane crash, can they put aside their feelings to perform life-saving measures?
Hopefully Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) won’t take on too much, as he’s had quite a few hectic patient interactions lately. Just last episode, he lost a young mother, who got addicted to the medicine he had prescribed for her pain years ago. Not to mention he was there when his brother, Chicago PD‘s Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) was brought into the ER for a gunshot wound.
Judging by the description below, Will does take on a new challenge at work, as he proposes a new treatment method. Hopefully he can keep his head in the game and focus on the tasks at hand, as it appears this episode will be a little chaotic.
Here’s how NBC officially describes the episode:
After a major accident at O’Hare, the E.D. is concerned one of their own is in mortal danger; Will’s proposal for a safe injection site goes to the board for consideration; Natalie and Goodwin become concerned for Gwen.
