After a string of false alarms at a private school, Casey & Severide search for answers in this exclusive sneak peek from Chicago Fire season 8, episode 12.

In this week’s episode of Chicago Fire, “Then Nick Porter Happened,” Firehouse 51 are caught between a rock and a hard place when a string of false alarms at an all-boys private school take them away from individuals in need of actual assistance.

After the latest in the series of false alarms leaves one individual in critical condition, Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Severide (Taylor Kinney) decide to take matters into their own hands in hopes of identifying the individual behind the false alarms. Hoping to get to the bottom of things, Casey and Severide make their way to the scene of the crime to speak with the school’s headmaster.

As Casey and Severide try to explain to the headmaster, these false alarms are far from harmless pranks as each false alarm jeopardizes the lives of those in actual danger. Despite their pleas for assistance in identifying the student responsible for the false alarms, the school’s headmaster remains adamant in protecting the student’s identity.

Things quickly get heated between Firehouse 51’s finest and the school’s headmaster, who cuts the conversation off in requesting Casey and Severide vacant the premises. While the headmaster may have stonewalled Severide and Casey, the duo show no signs of throwing in the towel. As Severide adamantly promises in the closing moments of the clip, they will find a way to get to the bottom of the case with, or without the headmaster’s cooperation.
