Chicago PD season 7, episode 12 photos: The Devil You Know

NBC has released the official photos for season 7, episode 12 of Chicago PD, and it looks like the Intelligence Unit is in for a surprise when they “make a deal with the devil” in order to stop drugs from being dealt.
The January 22 episode, “The Devil You Know,” will see the result of a deal that Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) makes with his CI, Darius Walker (recurring guest star Michael Beach). Since Darius is a known drug kingpin, he makes the perfect source for Voight to figure out where an influx of bad dope is coming from.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Chicago PD episode without some kind of twist, right? Enter: the perpetrators, who are — get this — cops! And who better to investigate a group of dirty cops than someone who used to be considered one: Sergeant Voight.
He’s not the only one who’s running this case down though. The whole team is in on the action, including Detective Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer), who is finally off desk duty, not to mention out of his sling.
Fans saw Halstead working a little bit on last week’s case, but it’ll be good to see him out with the rest of the unit again. He’s definitely missed the action, so here’s hoping this case gives him exactly what he wants.
Judging by the promo that’s been airing, he’ll be toting his rifle and doing surveillance with the best of them, including his partner, Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos). If you solely go by the photos, then it appears he’ll be alongside Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger).
Speaking of Burzek, it looks like Kim hasn’t been put on light duty, despite telling her superiors about her pregnancy in last week’s episode. She’s even decked out in a complete undercover outfit in one of the photos below, so she’s right in the thick of things with this case too. Hopefully Adam can keep his cool this time and let Kim do her part to catch the criminals.
