NBC has released the official photos for Chicago PD season 7, episode 17, and the Intelligence Unit is once again doing their absolute best to protect the Windy City.
“Before The Fall” is focused on a high-profile case that involves gangs and gun violence, which prompts the need for Intelligence to work with their colleagues in Homicide. One Chicago fans know well that Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) doesn’t exactly play nice with others, especially if they question his motives.
Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait to see how bad the disagreement gets. The promotional photos don’t show the infighting; they show the Intelligence Unit surveying a crime scene, drawing their weapons, and talking with witnesses or potential suspects.
One officer that is prominently featured is Kevin Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins), who is seen out of uniform in the majority of his photos. Perhaps he’s tapped to go undercover, or he’s the one that meets up with an important player in this case.
Atwater is partnered with Vanessa Rojas (Lisseth Chavez) once again, so it looks like Rowater fans will get their fix of the duo this week. Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) and Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) are also seen together. Looks like those two get stuck talking to the disgruntled Homicide detective that argues with Voight throughout the episode. Talk about a tough break.
Judging by the stern looks on Atwater and Voight’s faces, this Chicago PD case is sure to test their police skills, as well as their patience. Two different guest stars are also included in this week’s photos. The Homicide detective is named Paul Staples, and he’s portrayed by Stephen Louis Grush. The other guest is Steve Harris (from The Practice), who plays Brian Rochester in the episode.
