Chicago Fire season 8, episode 19 photos: Light Things Up

Chicago Fire is giving fans a look at Joe Cruz’s wedding in this week’s promo stills. Check out the Chicago Fire season 8, episode 19 photos.

With everything happening in the world right now, One Chicago fans are looking for something happy, and they’re definitely going to get it in Wednesday’s episode “Light Things Up.”

That’s because this episode features the long talked-about wedding between Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso) and his fiancee Chloe (returning guest star Kristen Gutoskie). Viewers have known for awhile now that this would be the wedding episode, and the photos NBC has released have confirmed that.

The network hasn’t been shy about the wedding; the majority of the images this week are from that sequence, so fans will get a kick out of seeing all of their favorites dressed up for the event. But there’s other stuff happening, too, so there are also photos from around Firehouse 51 as our heroes continue to work to protect the city of Chicago.

And because no happy event in One Chicago history has ever happened without at least a small speed bump, take a look at the first photo where Cruz appears to be angsty. He’s being cheered up by Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo). So what has him looking glum just before his special occasion? Is it the absence of his best friend Otis (Yuri Sardarov)? Or is there something else on his mind?
