CHICAGO MED (NBC at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT; premiere date TBD): One Chicago’s medical drama is back for its sixth season. Things changed drastically in season 5, with two series regulars leaving and Dominic Rains joining the cast as Dr. Crockett Marcel. When the show returns, many personal stories will continue on, including a probable romance between Crockett and Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto). Plus, will Chexton reconcile since both have admitted to still having feelings for the other?

CHICAGO FIRE (NBC at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT; also premiere TBD): The One Chicago firefighting series enters its ninth season. Season 9 will be without Yuri Sardarov as Otis (who was killed at the start of season 8) and Annie Ilonzeh as Emily Foster (who was dropped from the series at the end of the season). A replacement for Ilonzeh has yet to be announced—and it’s possible that she could make a cameo to officially wrap up Foster’s story—but Alberto Rosende will return as Blake Gallo, who took over for Otis.

CHICAGO PD (NBC at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT; premiere TBA): One Chicago’s police drama returns for its eighth season. The new season will pick up exactly where season 7 left off, with Kevin Atwater (as played by LaRoyce Hawkins) in the crosshairs of his fellow officers after telling supervisors about a dead cop’s racial profiling. Lisseth Chavez returns for her second year as Vanessa Rojas, while it’s not yet clear if the show will change its rule-breaking approach at all due to the increased scrutiny of police behavior.
