Here’s when and where Chicago PD will air in July 2020.
The Chicago PD TV schedule in July 2020 includes another handful of reruns to keep One Chicago fans entertained. But there might be an abrupt change just around the corner.
July will be the third full month that NBC has relied on repeats, after the most recent season had to end ahead of schedule because of current events. So it’s no surprise that the network is starting to run out of episodes to show. One of the installments on this month’s schedule will be on its third showing.
NBC has also not confirmed what they plan to do after the middle of July, putting a bigger question mark over the schedule. Will they run the last few season 7 episodes? Show other episodes for the third time? They could also pull episodes from the first six seasons—or in the worst case scenario, pull the show off the air altogether and replace it with game shows (which is what has happened in past years).
One Chicago viewers will want to keep an eye out to see what happens at mid-month. But at least for the start of it, Chicago PD remains on the schedule. If you’ve missed episodes, now is the time to catch up.

July 1: “Center Mass” (Chicago PD season 7, episode 14)
The Intelligence Unit’s newest arrival Vanessa Rojas (Lisseth Chavez) takes center stage as, during a murder investigation, she develops a rapport with a mentally ill man. But was he a witness to the crime, or could he potentially be the perpetrator? Rojas gets in over her head as she attempts to both help him and close the case.
July 8: “Intimate Violence” (episode 16)
Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) crosses the line to protect an Intelligence informant from her abusive partner. Meanwhile, Halstead’s partner Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) revisits her own history as a child growing up in an abusive household.
July 15: “Before The Fall” (episode 17)
Intelligence tries to prevent yet another gang war on the streets of Chicago. This time, they turn to a reformed gang member (played by guest star Steve Harris, The Practice) to help them. However, his involvement only complicates the case—and it also has violent and tragic consequences. This episode previously repeated in March 2020.
