Here’s when and where Chicago PD will air in August 2020.

The Chicago PD TV schedule in August 2020 is more stable than either of its One Chicago cohorts, but fans still might not be thrilled about what’s on tap for the police drama.

NBC has begun rolling out its summer programming, pushing the entire franchise aside in favor of the network’s normal lineup of competition shows and other unscripted series. However, because PD airs at 10:00 p.m., it sometimes manages to avoid those preemptions—which is the case for at least part of August.

However, what isn’t fun is that the episodes are continuing to air out of order; sometimes that’s not a huge deal, but it will be this month when a key episode repeats after an episode that talks about what happened! So if you’re not caught up on season 7, you might want to head to another source such as Peacock or Amazon Video to watch in order, or you’ll end up spoiled.

And the changes may not end there; there’s no official word about what’s happening at the end of the month yet. It’s possible there may be some preemptions or episode re-arranging.
