Chicago Med season 6 character preview: Will Halstead

What will happen

Will and Hannah will still be together when Chicago Med season 6 begins, and should last at least a few episodes. The question is going to be if the writers will push the jealousy angle that they’ve done with Manstead in the past. Remember when both of them were dating other people and yet they kept giving each other angsty looks and eventually dumped their partners?

While Natalie is about to hook up with Dr. Crockett Marcel (Dominic Rains), it would be no shock at all if Will was jealous, or Natalie somehow remembered Will. Although his rejection of her seemed pretty firm the writers have invested so much time in Manstead and like romantic drama a lot, so keep an eye out for how Will reacts when Natalie and Crockett get together.

There’s very little information about the clinical trial that he’s going to be working on and the new doctor he’ll be working with. It’d be great if he made a new friend, because we haven’t seen Will in a good friendship since Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) was around. But again, given the way that love triangles happen a lot in the entire One Chicago universe, don’t rule out the new doctor developing an attraction to Dr. Halstead.
