Chicago Fire season 9, episode 2 photos.
The next Chicago Fire episode is going to keep the newest member of the main cast busy, based on the promotional photos that NBC has dropped ahead of Wednesday’s premiere.
Episode 2 is called “That Kind of Heat,” and let’s get this out of the way first—if you’re looking for spoilers regarding the cliffhanger from the season premiere, you’re not going to get them. NBC is being cagey this week, only releasing a handful of photos from this episode, and only one of them relates to what happened with Ambulance 61.
You’ll see a crashed ambulance, but that’s all you’re going to know about that.
Instead the network is focusing viewers’ attention on a sequence that stars Daniel Kyri as Darren Ritter. Fans will recall that Kyri was promoted to series regular this season after recurring for the last two, and looks like he’s getting his first big moment here. Ritter responds to an incident at a train station and pulls off some impressive heroics.
He’s certainly come a long way from the candidate that froze up in a stairwell when the viewers first met him!
