The next episode of Chicago PD will have at least one major action sequence, according to what NBC has made available from their official photography for this week.
Wednesday’s installment “White Knuckle” involves the Intelligence Unit investigating a crime that has ties to the police force—and no, it’s not what happened to Kevin Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) at the end of the season premiere, though presumably that’s going to come up, too.
All of the photos that the network has publicized for this episode seem to come from the same set of events, in which the members of Intelligence are converging on a suspect’s location. Then, as is usually the case on this show, the suspect attempts to run away from them and is quickly brought down and placed in custody.
One Chicago fans know that scenes like that happen in almost every episode, so this doesn’t give a lot of clues as to what’s going to happen in “White Knuckle.” But so far season 8 has provided just as much action as viewers have come to expect from this series. We’ll have to tune in to figure out who the suspect is and how much trouble he’s in.
