Chicago Fire’s Charlotte Sullivan stars in Hallmark’s Two for the Win
By Cody Schultz
Chicago Fire alum Charlotte Sullivan leads a new Hallmark movie.
Charlotte Sullivan’s Chicago Fire romance didn’t end well, but she’s got a happier love story in the upcoming Hallmark Channel movie Two for the Win.
Airing Saturday, Jan. 16 as part of Hallmark’s New Year New Movies line-up, Two for the Win finds world champion ski racer Justin O’Neill (Trevor Donovan), who returns to his family’s ski resort in preparation for the Annual Winter Classic ski race. In need of a little help preparing for the race, Justin turns to his childhood friend, Kayla Green (Sullivan).
As Kayla and Justin begin to spend more time together, sparks soon begin to fly as the pair develop feelings. While we’re pretty certain we know how exactly things will end — this is a Hallmark movie we’re talking about after all and there’s nothing wrong with comfortable, predictability! — don’t expect Kayla and Justin to get their happily ever after without a little bit of conflict.
As Hallmark teases of the film, after a training setback, Justin will be forced to choose between a return to the competitive ski circuit or following his heart to “make amends with his family from whom he had grown distant, and most of all… Kayla.”
