This week on Law and Order: SVU, Carisi sets his sights on a powerful figure and will need all the help he can get to get justice. Fortunately, Captain Benson and the team are on the case and more than happy to help Carisi with the case.

As NBC teases of “The Long Arm of the Witness,” the latest episode of 22 finds Carisi on the hunt to bring down a powerful judge after he throws out the rape case of a university student —  a move that raises several red flags for Carisi.

Hoping to get justice for the victim, Carisi decides to take a major swing in going after the judge he feels is corrupt and a dangerous predator. Of course, to bring down a prominent figure such as a judge, one needs an air-tight case complete with crucial evidence to support any accusation and charges.

In this Law and Order: SVU season 22 exclusive, Detective Fin meets with an informant whose evidence could be crucial to Carisi’s case!

Rendezvousing on a quiet street free of prying eyes, Fin meets with his informant who appears to have been convinced to cooperate thanks to a little persuasion from his daughter. During the brief exchange, Fin is able to get his hands on some old memo books that are likely to contain damning information about the judge which just might prove to be critical in bringing him to justice.

“The Long Arm of the Witness” premieres this Thursday, Jan. 21 at 9/8c on NBC.
