The next Chicago Fire episode is getting Blake Gallo in trouble again, but he might not be the only one.

Wednesday’s installment “Blow This Up Somehow” features Gallo (Alberto Rosende) once again ending up in hot water by making an impulsive choice. That does seem to be the character’s way of doing things, considering how we met him last season—and the fact that he risked potentially getting blown up to save a coworker this season!

Regardless, though, Gallo’s decision does not go over well with Captain Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer). Considering that Casey recruited Gallo for his bravado in the first place, these two need to get on the same page about what is and is not okay.

In other news, Chicago Fire is giving fans a subplot for Ambulance 61 this week. The paramedics are dealing with some weird calls, which doesn’t inspire confidence; after all, the first weird call they went on led to someone nearly killing both of them. Let’s hope that this is “suspicious” in a comedic way and not a life-threatening way.

Chicago Fire season 9, episode 6 synopsis

Here’s how NBC officially describes this episode, which makes it seem like everyone’s going to be in a bad mood this week:

"Gallo makes a split-second decision during a dangerous fire rescue leaving Casey steaming that his direct orders were not obeyed. Kidd feels a strain in her relationship with Severide. Brett and Mackey find themselves searching for answers following a series of suspicious calls."
