Adriyan Rae has left Chicago Fire, but you can still watch her here
Chicago Fire fans are still reeling from last week’s news that Adriyan Rae has left the series. Rae played paramedic Gianna Mackey for just nine episodes, before personal reasons prompted her to vacate the role.
That’s a relatively short tenure, and it means that One Chicago viewers just got to scratch the surface of what the actress is capable of. While we saw her in comedy, drama and even a little bit of romance in season 9, there’s plenty we didn’t get to enjoy.
So for Gianna Mackey fans or Adriyan Rae fans who miss her already, here are a few places you can check out more of her work while waiting to see what she does next.

Light as a Feather
This Hulu horror story was Adriyan’s first series regular role; she joined the cast in the second—and final—season as Peri Boudreaux, the love interest for Alex Portnoy (played by Scream alumni Brianne Tju).
The series focuses on a group of young women who begin playing a cursed game and then, unsurprisingly, start dying under circumstances exactly like those in the game. It’s based on the novel by Zoe Aarsen and the regular cast also included Peyton List (Cobra Kai), Dylan Sprayberry (Teen Wolf) and Liana Liberato.
You’ll need a Hulu subscription to stream, but you can usually get a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, and since Adriyan is only in the second season there are only 16 episodes to binge-watch.
Vagrant Queen
Adriyan Rae’s biggest role before Chicago Fire was in the SyFy original series Vagrant Queen. She played the title character Elida, who left behind her kingdom to make a living as a scavenger and an outlaw. But when her frenemy Isaac (played by Wynonna Earp‘s Tim Rozon) reappears in her life with information about her long-lost mom, Elida goes back to face her past and answer that massive mystery.
Based on the comic book by Magdalene Visaggio, the series is one-part sci-fi, one-part action-adventure, and an incredible departure from playing a paramedic at Firehouse 51. Though it had a cult following, it only lasted 10 episodes… but they’re ten pretty big, action-packed and frenetic episodes.
SyFy’s official website claims you can watch full episodes, but that’s not accurate; as of now all the site offers is two clips from each installment. If you really want to check out Vagrant Queen, your best bet is to head to Amazon Video where you can purchase the complete series in HD for $14.99.
