Is Law and Order Organized Crime on NBC tonight? Audiences have gotten used to a block of Dick Wolf programming on Thursday nights thanks to the Christopher Meloni-led spinoff, but the plan is a bit different for the week of April 29.

Fans of the Law and Order franchise have enjoyed the newest spinoff, which features Meloni as Elliot Stabler for the first time in a decade. Newly widowed, he’s now leading the charge against crime boss Richard Wheatley (played by Stalker‘s Dylan McDermott) in a serialized story different from the usual “case of the week” format.

They’ve also been enjoying the reunion between Stabler and his ex-partner Olivia Benson (award winner Mariska Hargitay). Even though only four episodes of Organized Crime have aired so far, it has featured multiple guest appearances by Hargitay as Benson and Stabler continue to work on their relationship and he deals with his trauma.

But fans won’t get to see them this week.

The answer to “Is Law and Order Organized Crime on tonight?” is no. NBC is shaking up their schedule this week to promote sophomore drama Manifest, airing back-to-back episodes of the supernatural series that stars Josh Dallas (Once Upon A Time).

That has bumped SVU from 9:00 p.m. back an hour to 10:00 p.m. which in turn has pushed its spinoff out of the lineup this Thursday. Instead of more Stabler, viewers will get to see a repeat of the SVU season 22 premiere “Guardians and Gladiators.”

If you’re looking for a silver lining, this would be a good week to catch up on those four episodes before Organized Crime returns in May.
