Chicago Med season 6, episode 14 synopsis and promo: A Red Pill, A Blue Pill
There’s going to be a lot of trouble in the next Chicago Med, according to the details that NBC has made available ahead of Wednesday’s fresh episode.
The installment is called “A Red Pill, A Blue Pill” (nice reference to The Matrix) and will introduce a new crop of medical students. As revealed in last week’s episode, one of them is the daughter that Maggie Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett) gave up for adoption as a teenager. We’ve already seen how problematic parent-child relationships can be in the ED with the Goodwins, although in this case, Maggie and her daughter are on the same side.
Meanwhile, Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) is in full-blown cover-up mode to hide that she committed theft, and the teaser for this episode (which we’ve included below) also shows April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta) working on a controversial case. Though this time, it’s not April who’s the one making the questionable decisions.
Someone might need an Advil by the time the episode is over. Maybe even the One Chicago fans.

Chicago Med season 6, episode 14 promo
Watch the promotional spot related to this episode below. What’s interesting is that it has nothing to do with anything mentioned in the synopsis. Instead, who’s ready for more Steven Weber? (The answer is everyone. There is always room for more Steven Weber, even if his character here is a jerk, as evidenced by said promo.)
