Chicago PD season 8, episode 14 photos: Safe

This week’s upcoming Chicago PD episode will feature Hailey Upton, and the photos NBC has made available from the episode showcase that.

“Safe” involves Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) taking the lead when Intelligence investigates a series of home invasion robberies. As such, you can see her in several of the promotional photos, including two really good action shots. It’s not Chicago PD without some kind of action sequence and Upton has always been fearless at confronting whatever bad guys are in her path.

Though the official synopsis for the episode hints at some trouble for Hailey when she gets stuck between Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) and her boyfriend slash partner Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer), you wouldn’t be able to tell that from these images. One that will appeal to Upstead fans in particular shows Halstead smiling while conversing with Voight and Upton. Clearly they’re getting along in at least part of this episode!

But as has become the norm, it looks like the promo photos are from just a handful of scenes in the episode, so you’re not going to get any hints about the conflict or the case from here. Viewers will have to guess what drives Halstead and Voight to butt heads. Or where some of the other characters end up, since we don’t see many of them (but there’s some Atwater photos for the fans of LaRoyce Hawkins!)
