The latest Chicago Med will put more pressure on Natalie, as revealed in the information that NBC has made available about Wednesday’s new installment.

The next episode is appropriately titled “Stories, Secrets, Half-Truths and Lies,” and involves Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) continuing to deal with the fallout of her stealing heart failure trial medication for her ailing mother. Carol Manning (recurring guest star Margaret Colin) is back in this episode, so apparently she’s not getting better like the most recent episode led viewers (and Natalie) to believe.

Remember that this is also the last episode before the season 6 finale. Fans already know that two characters are leaving the show this season. Therefore, this week’s episode will likely set up one if not both of those exits. Neither the promo nor the synopsis mention April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta), so watch to see if April’s plans to move on are brought up again, but it’s fairly clear as to how Natalie’s storyline is going to conclude.

Chicago Med season 6, episode 15 synopsis

Here’s the official synopsis for this episode released by the network. It details all of the major plotlines, including that we’re getting a Crockett Marcel (Dominic Rains) case of the week, too.

"Crockett worries he made a surgical error when a recent transplant patient comes in with complications. Carol is once again in distress. Will and Natalie must take action to right their wrong."

Watch the promotional spot related to this episode below. The ad focuses on the Will and Natalie situation, which isn’t shocking at all considering that they’re part of two of the above-mentioned plot points. Could this be the episode where Torrey DeVitto leaves the series and she doesn’t come back for the finale? At the least, it’s going to have to set up her exit.
