When does Chicago Fire season 10 premiere?
By Cody Schultz
From the moment Chicago Fire season 9 came to an end in late May, fans have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Chicago Fire season 10. Given the way in which the season came to an end, it’s honestly no surprise fans have been counting down the days until season 10!
As season 9 came to a close, the lives of several members of 51 were left hanging in the balance when Squad members Severide (Taylor Kinney), Cruz (Joe Minoso), Capp (Randy Flagler) and Tony (Anthony Ferraris) found themselves trapped underwater without oxygen in their air tanks.
On top of the shocking finale sequence, the final episode of season 9 also left us wondering what could be next for the likes of Boden (Eamonn Walker) and Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo), who each faced unique career-oriented storylines.
While Boden pondered the thought of leaving 51 to pursue the deputy district chief role, Kidd’s future at 51 was called into question due to the fact the house is in need of no additional lieutenants.
When does Chicago Fire season 10 start?
The good news is, fans won’t have to wait much longer to find out what’s in store for the men and women of Firehouse 51 as Chicago Fire season 10 will be coming this September.

After last year’s delayed premiere, NBC is getting things back on track this fall with Chicago Fire season 10 set to premiere Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 9/8c!
This premiere date is sooner than we originally anticipated, as it was looking like we could see the season kick off the week of Sept. 27 instead. Fortunately, NBC had other plans and will be kicking off One Chicago Wednesdays a week sooner than anticipated which is welcome news.
