New Chicago Med season 7 photo offers first look at Kristen Hager and Guy Lockard’s Med debut

This fall, Chicago Med season 7 is set to introduce two new doctors to the team at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center with the addition of new series regulars Kristen Hager and Guy Lockard.
As previously revealed, Hager and Lockard are set to make their debuts this fall as a pair of new doctors making their way to Med under yet to be revealed circumstances. Although how they come to join the Med team remains uncertain, their arrival seems to be part of NBC’s effort to fill the void left by departing original cast members Torrey DeVitto and Yaya DaCosta.
What is known is that Lockard will be playing Dr. Dylan Scott, while Hager has been tapped to play Dr. Stevie Hammer.
Dylan is described as a former Chicago police officer turned doctor which definitely is a storyline we expect could bleed over into Chicago PD perhaps with Dylan sharing a connection to a member of the Intelligence Unit. Meanwhile, Hammer is described as being Med’s new brilliant and scrappy emergency room attending physical which we imagine will likely see her brushing elbows with many folks and stirring the pot a bit in the process.
While we’ll have to wait to see how Hager and Lockard’s characters are brought into the fold, the wait to see the pair scrub in as their new characters is officially over thanks to a newly released image from the set of season 7 which sees the pair of new doctors teaming up to treat a patient!

With production on Chicago Med season 7 officially underway, our first looks at the upcoming seventh season of the NBC medical drama have gradually been making their way onto social media. While Lockard has posted a few shots from the set, a new post from one of the season’s upcoming guest stars has given us our first glimpse of Lockard and Hager in all their glory as Dr. Scott and Dr. Hammer!

In the newly released image, which you can check out below, Hager and Lockard seem to team up to help treat a young patient brought into the ED for treatment. Posing with a pair of guest actors, fans are given their first look at Dr. Scott and Dr. Hammer in action with Lockard and Hager suited up in full costume rocking Med’s signature scrubs.

Because this is a behind-the-scenes look, it’s unclear in what episode the scenes might take place but it appears fans can expect Med‘s newest arrivals to team up quite early in the season which should be quite a treat for fans.
As the new docs in town, it will be interesting to see what sort of dynamic Dylan and Stevie share and to see how exactly the docs get along while treating their patient. Could it be the start of a budding new friendship or the start of a new workplace rivalry? We’ll have to wait and see when Chicago Med season 7 arrives on Sept. 22!
