Chicago Med star Brian Tee is about to make waves as part of another iconic franchise via his role in the cast of Disney Plus’s newest original Star Wars series.

This fall, Disney Plus will expand its Star Wars catalog with the launch of its new anime anthology series Star Wars: Visions, a collection of animated original short films designed to explore the unique animation style and perspective of each anime studio behind the films.

For their first foray into anime, Disney Plus has lined up an all-star level vocal cast including Brian Tee! As announced by Disney Plus, Tee will voice the character Ronin in the animated short film The Duel in which he’ll costar alongside Lucy Liu and Jaden Waldman as part of the English dubbed vocal cast.

Although Disney Plus has not yet released the official synopsis for The Duel, it’s unclear to know what exactly to expect from the animated short but if the trailer for Star Wars: Visions is any indication, fans should be in for quite a treat!

Will Brian Tee’s Star Wars: Visions role affect his Chicago Med role?

So what exactly does Brian Tee’s role in Disney Plus’s new Star Wars series mean for his role in the upcoming seventh season of Chicago Med?

If you’re concerned Tee’s involvement in Star Wars: Vision will affect his role in the upcoming season of Med, you can rest at ease in knowing the role won’t create any conflict with Tee’s involvement in season 7.

While it’s unclear when exactly Disney Plus filmed the series, production is already complete on the series suggesting Tee filmed his part during the One Chicago hiatus. As such, he won’t miss any episodes of Chicago Med this season due to this new role which should be a relief for fans.
