1. Antonio and Gabby Dawson

The best sibling relationship across all three One Chicago shows is also it’s first—the one between Gabriela Dawson and her brother Antonio. They have been through just about everything, and that includes some of the biggest events in One Chicago history, and they often face them together.

We meet Gabby (Monica Raymund) right at the start of Chicago Fire, and it only takes until the third episode for Antonio to be introduced. He jumps in to help her future husband Casey battle Voight when Voight tries to pressure Casey—not knowing that’s his future boss! But Antonio is able to help Casey get away from Voight, and he’s been there to help Firehouse 51 with most of their police-related needs ever since.

Like the Halstead brothers, the Dawsons collaborated frequently; it seemed like Antonio was always Gabby’s first call whenever anything goes down. He’s been mentioned even when he’s not seen and turned up at Firehouse 51 pretty regularly.

The close bond between Gabby and Antonio was most obvious when they’re working to investigate the death of her first partner Leslie Shay (Lauren German). Antonio identifies the suspect and later finds out that he’s targeting Gabriela. Though the man is able to trap her in an elevator, Gabby then stalls the suspect long enough for Antonio to shoot him and save his sister’s life.

They feel like a unified team and you would be hard-pressed to name any other relationship in One Chicago that is as close and works as well as that of the Dawson siblings.
