One Chicago fans tuning into Tuesday night’s America’s Got Talent performance show were gifted with quite an unexpected surprise in the form of a striking new One Chicago promo trailer!

Ahead of their returns on Wednesday, Sept. 22, NBC has released a dramatic new trailer designed to promote the upcoming new seasons of Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago PD.

Unlike in the network’s previously released promotional spot which drew heavily upon clips from past seasons, NBC’s newest One Chicago promo provides us with our first look at the upcoming seasons of the three shows in an intense teaser. That’s right, the newly released trailer offers up our first official looks at the upcoming tenth, seventh and ninth seasons of Fire, Med and PD in a trailer that is sure to leave fans wanting more!

New Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago PD footage teased in One Chicago promo

Gearing up for the return of One Chicago Wednesdays, NBC debuted a new teaser for the upcoming fall season which brings together the casts of its three hit dramas in an emotionally charged teaser.

The dramatic new One Chicago trailer begins with a shot of the Chicago Fire cast gathered in front of Firehouse 51 has Boden (Eamonn Walker) tells the house they’ll always be a family. We then cut away to Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) making an impassioned speech to Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss), before the baton is passed off to the Chicago PD team segment in which Voight (Jason Beghe) delivers an equally impassionate message of hope to his team.

In the midst of the action, we get to see 51 in action with Casey (Jesse Spencer) jumping right into the action with a shocking rescue as well as montages of the franchise’s many beloved characters coming together to hit home the continued unity of the franchise.

The trailer then ends with an emotional moment in which Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) reminds Burgess (Marina Squerciati) that they always look out for each other as he warmly embraces herhand as she lies in a hospital bed fighting for her life.

Will NBC release trailer for the new seasons of Chicago Fire, Med and PD?

At this point, it’s becoming more and more unclear whether NBC will choose to release trailers for the upcoming seasons of Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago PD.

Thus far, the only promotional trailers which have been released by the network have been joint One Chicago teasers which mix together footage from all three series in the franchise. We have to imagine if NBC were to release individual trailers they should be coming sometime before the shows return on Sept. 22.

In other words, stay tuned folks as it remains to be seen whether NBC will be releasing any additional trailers for the show beyond the joint One Chicago trailers released thus far!
