Chicago Med season 7 episode 2 promo, synopsis and photos

Last Wednesday, Chicago Med kicked off its seventh season with a premiere that bid farewell to one of the show’s original stars while introducing viewers to a wave of new doctors.
The season 7 premiere also managed to clue fans in on the biggest mystery of the offseason in revealing how exactly Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) managed to get his job back after his role in covering up for Natalie’s (Torrey DeVitto) actions.
This being Med, Will’s return wasn’t as simple as him coming back on a probationary status or after a suspension. Instead, his second chance came with the contingency of helping Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) gather evidence against a doctor committing fraud by pushing pricey cardiac output monitors to get kickbacks.

Chicago Med season 7 episode 2 promo
In NBC’s new promo for the next episode of Chicago Med, tensions seem to rise between Med’s newest doctor Dr. Dylan Scott (Guy Lockard) and interim chief of the ED Dr. Dean Archer (Steven Weber) when the hospital reaches capacity.
Given how we’ve seen Dean react to conflicts with his peers in the past, it’s going to be interesting to see how he reacts to Dylan putting him on blast for how he’s handling the crisis.
Chicago Med season 7 episode 2 synopsis
While the promo for this week’s episode seems to put a focus on tensions rising when the hospital reaches capacity, the synopsis for the episode offers up a much larger look at what’s to come in episode 2.
In addition to teasing what Dean and Dylan will be up to when they’re not at each other’s throats, it seems the episode will also see Will and Dr. Stevie Hammer (Kristen Hager) teaming up to treat a high school student with a rare disease.

Here’s how NBC officially describes Chicago Med season 7, episode 2:
"Vanessa and Archer disagree on how to handle the victim of a motorcycle accident. Dylan and Charles deal with a UNICEF negotiator with repressed trauma. Stevie and Will treat a high schooler with Addison’s disease and a clingy mother."
