Herrmann breaks protocol during Chicago Fire Season 10, Episode 2. What could lead to him doing that? Find out by watching the new episode live.

It’s extremely rare for Herrmann to break protocol. Something serious has to happen on a case for that to happen, and it looks like it could be linked to the car in the promo.

A garage door has fallen on a car, and when the firefighters remove the car’s roof, they find something inside. Just what could it be? A baby would certainly send everyone for a shock. Or maybe it’s an animal that has been trapped and injured.

Whatever it is, it seems to be something that sends Herrmann reeling. Just look at his face at the end of the promo. He’s likely to take this callout hard.

Casey gets attention on Chicago Fire Season 10, Episode 2

Meanwhile, the callout from the Season 10 premiere is going to pop up, and not the mission to save Squad 3. Casey did an amazing roof save. That’s nothing out of the ordinary. We’ve seen some of these amazing saves in the past.

During this episode, it turns out that someone filmed the save, though. The video is online, and that’s made Casey viral. This can happen a lot with social media now, but Casey probably won’t like the attention. He doesn’t do this job for the public attention. He does it because he wants to save lives.

Meanwhile, Mouch is the one with the side story during Chicago Fire Season 10, Episode 2. There’s always one episode that gives us a bit of comedic relief. Mouch decides to set up a little library at the firehouse. I have to wonder what makes Mouch decide to do something like this since he doesn’t have kids.

Check out the promo and synopsis for Chicago Fire Season 10, Episode 2:

"A video of Casey from the roof rescue goes viral. Mouch sets up a Little Free Library at Firehouse 51. Herrmann breaks protocol."
