Chicago Med season 7 episode 6 promo, synopsis and photos

Last Wednesday on Chicago Med, Crockett (Dominic Rains) found himself at odds with transplant surgeon Pamela Blake (Sarah Rafferty) after her daughter was brought in for treatment. Although he two butted heads, in the end, they seemed to come to better understand and respect one another with the episode hinting that there could be more to come for the pair when Pamela requested Crockett to assist on a transplant surgery.

Elsewhere in the episode, Charles (Oliver Platt) and Dylan (Guy Lockard) teamed up to treat a young patient with Glass Child Syndrome and his misdiagnosed younger brother in the process. Meanwhile, Will (Nick Gehlfuss) and Stevie (Kristen Hager) came together to treat an elderly patient which helped to give the pair a better understanding of one another in the process.

As the title of the episode suggests, the sixth hour of the season will put a large focus on Stevie when her worlds collide at Med upon her mother’s admittance as a patient.

If the promo for the episode is any indication, it looks like this week will be a particularly difficult one for Stevie as she tried to help her mom get the help she needs… which looks to be quite difficult considering her mom’s refusal of care.

While the storyline involving Stevie is likely to be the episode’s central storyline, episode 6 will find all of Med’s other doctors keeping busy with a variety of new cases of the week.

As expected, Crockett is about to once again cross paths with Pamela, this time when his patient’s liver is discovered to be a potential match for one of Pamela’s patients in need of a liver transplant. Elsewhere, Dylan is going to also find himself facing a case that is close to home due to his connection to the patient’s father.

Here’s how NBC officially describes Chicago Med season 7, episode 6:

"Stevie’s personal and professional worlds collide when her mother becomes her patient. Dylan’s history with the father of a patient interferes with his perception of a case. Crockett’s allegiances are challenged when his patient’s liver is a potential match for one of Dr. Blake’s patients."
