There have been a lot of changes to the cast of Chicago Med this season, chief among them the departures of Yaya DaCosta and Torrey DeVitto as series regulars after six seasons on the show.

While fans of DaCosta have been able to still enjoy the actress’s work this fall via her new role as the lead in FOX’s My Kind of People, fans of DeVitto haven’t been quite as lucky due to the simple fact that DeVitto has been focusing more on film following her exit — and movies tend to take longer to produce than your standard television series.

Fortunately, DeVitto’s latest film is finally making its way to primetime this Saturday night and we’ve got your sneak peek at the holiday film you won’t want to miss!

The Christmas Promise Hallmark preview

In what will be her third Hallmark movie, DeVitto stars alongside Dylan Bruce and Patrick Duffy in the newest original Miracles of Christmas movie The Christmas Promise which debuts tonight (Oct. 30) at 10/9c on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries.

In the film, DeVitto plays Nicole, a young woman still processing the loss of her fiance which leads her to make the difficult decision to sell the dream house they had been building together.

Recognizing her need for assistance, Nicole hires a carpenter, Joe (Bruce), to help finish the job in hopes of getting the house ready to sell. What Nicole never anticipated was for Joe to not just help finish the house renovations but to help her to pick up the pieces and rebuild her life.

It sounds like the making of another incredible heartwarming holiday original and is a must-watch for Chicago Med fans who have been missing DeVitto’s presence this season!
