There have been a lot of changes to the Chicago Fire cast over the years. We’ve seen beloved characters walk away after their character arcs came to a close, as new faces emerged and became integral parts of the cast.

David Eigenberg as Christopher Herrmann
David Eigenberg has played Christopher Herrmann since the premiere episode, appearing in more than 200 episodes and counting thus far. It’s now Eigenberg’s longest-running acting gig, his previous role coming as Steve Brady in HBO’s Sex and the City.

Christian Stolte as Randall “Mouch” McHolland
While Christian Stolte is best known for his portrayal of Mouch, a role he originated in the series premiere, the veteran actor has appeared in a number of titles over the years including FOX’s hit series Prison Break.

Miranda Rae Mayo as Stella Kidd
It’s hard to believe that Miranda Rae Mayo has only been playing Stella Kidd for six seasons as it truly feels like Kidd has been around since the beginning. However, it wasn’t until the fifteenth episode of season 4 that Mayo made her debut in the role.

Jake Lockett as Sam Carver
Sam Carver on Chicago Fire is played by actor Jake Lockett. One of Lockett’s early roles was in the 2011 film Break. From 2012 to 2013, he played Jack Parker in the TV series In Reverie. After that, he appeared in the movie Stepping High. Some of Lockett’s other acting appearances include roles in NCIS: Los Angeles, Hawaii Five-0, and Masters of Sex.

Emma Jacobs is a former paramedic who was temporarily assigned to Ambulance 61 at Firehouse 51 while Sylvie Brett is on furlough on Chicago Fire. She is played by actress Caitlin Carver. Carver started her career as a dancer and has been seen on The Fosters (as Hayley Heinz) and on Dear White People (as Muffy Tuttle). She also played Nancy Kerrigan in the Oscar-winning film I, Tonya.
